2. Description of Service

talu is a hosted reverse proxy and tunneling service designed for software developers, testers, and teams. It enables exposing network services running on your local machine (localhost) to the public internet via secure HTTPS URLs without requiring public IP addresses, router port-forwarding, or complex firewall configuration.

Zero-Tolerance Abuse Policy: talu is intended strictly for development, testing, staging, and legitimate collaboration. Any malicious, deceptive, or abusive use will result in immediate termination.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use talu in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You strictly agree NOT to use the service to:

We reserve the right to immediately inspect reported traffic, suspend subdomains, revoke auth tokens, and block client IPs without prior notice upon detection of any violation.

4. Accounts and Authentication

Certain features (such as persistent custom subdomains and dashboard access) require authentication via third-party providers (such as GitHub or Google OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication tokens and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Fair Use and Resource Quotas

To ensure fair service quality for all users, we may apply rate limits on connections, request frequency, and bandwidth. We reserve the right to throttle or temporarily disconnect tunnels that consume excessive resources or impact shared infrastructure stability.

6. Custom Subdomains

Custom subdomains (e.g., *.t.jshub.cc) are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to reclaim or reassign any subdomain that infringes upon registered trademarks, impersonates recognized brands or organizations, or has remained inactive for an extended period.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

talu is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uptime, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, talu and its maintainers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service periodically. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of talu after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Contact and Abuse Reports

If you encounter any abuse, phishing, or violation of these terms originating from a talu tunnel URL, or if you have questions regarding these terms, please contact us promptly at [email protected] or report via our repository issue tracker.
